Settings

Access settings by pressing Cmd+, (macOS) or Ctrl+, (Windows/Linux), or via File → Settings.

Account

Manage your Termial account and subscription.

Sign In / Sign Out

  • Sign in with GitHub, Google, or email
  • View your current account
  • Sign out when needed

Subscription

View your current plan and usage:

  • Plan: Free, Pro, or Team
  • Status: Active, expired, or trial
  • Usage: AI requests, connections, etc.

Upgrade

Click Upgrade to change your subscription plan.

Restore Purchases

If you purchased through the Mac App Store, use Restore Purchases to restore your subscription on a new device.

General

Language

Choose your preferred language for the Termial interface:

  • English
  • Español
  • Français
  • Deutsch
  • Italiano

Appearance

Theme: Choose the color scheme for the app:

  • Dark: Dark background with light text
  • Light: Light background with dark text
  • System: Follows your operating system setting

Terminal Color Scheme: Choose colors for the terminal:

  • Default schemes
  • Popular themes (Dracula, Monokai, Solarized, etc.)
  • Linux distribution themes
  • Retro and classic themes

AI Settings

Configure the AI assistant.

AI Model

Select which AI model to use for command generation. Available models depend on your plan.

AI Access

Shows your current AI access level based on your subscription.

Docker

Configure Docker integration.

Docker Executable Path

Tell Termial where Docker is installed:

  • Auto-detect: Automatically find Docker
  • Custom path: Specify the exact path

Test Connection

Verify Docker is working by clicking Test Docker Connection.

Backup

Export and import your settings.

Export Settings

Create a backup file containing:

  • Bookmarks
  • SSH connections
  • Cloud connections
  • Credentials
  • Known hosts
  • AI and Docker settings

Click Export Settings and choose where to save the file.

Import Settings

Restore from a backup file:

  1. Click Import Settings
  2. Select your backup file
  3. Review what will be imported
  4. Confirm

Note: Importing replaces your current settings. If you're signed in, imported data will sync to the cloud.

Settings Sync

When signed in with cloud sync enabled:

  • Settings sync across your devices
  • Changes apply to all connected devices
  • AI and Docker settings are included
